Amazing Blog Reviews - Some Spicy

I don’t know which turn I took at Albekerky during this round of results! This stuff is Spicy hot! I went from blogradio to blog videos book reviews etc…etc… It seems the deeper I get in to this, the more I educate myself on the blogging platform.

I just switched the regular DH Blog over to Wordpress from Pmachine. It felt like stepping into the 21st century.

Relax, as you know if you’ve read these reviews before, the spicy stuff is at the end. What I found today, is even the regular happy couple blogs, happy or unhappy husband or wife blogs, had hot links to them.
Sometimes referring to their own experiences or pointing to someone else who is either a very good story teller or has fantabulous experiences and proud to report them.

The quality of the blog layouts are to be noted. Some going to a service for some graphics others going to friends. The plug ins and themes are all very well chosen and tweaked. As I’ve now worked with 4 blogging softwares, I can pass judgement on this.

New trend I’ve noticed is to give attributes to oneself…For example:

  • 100 things you should know about me….
  • 50 things I would like to become……
  • 101 things I hate….
  • I think you get the idea. These are a new way of communicating personal information. I think clever.

Most of the blogs I visited to reasearch this time were meant to be read, for the most part. As mentionned above, blogs of these calibres, are not meant to be tucked away and not read. Most people are looking for feedback.

I gave feedback today to Just Me, which I thought was a bit of a crazy blog, but had some great stories on it. I was particularly fond of All about Hubby as far as spicy, don’t go there looking for naughty bits of stories or pictures. This is rather like my own DH Blog Original. Good clean opinions and stories.

Keeping with the still normal not spicy stuff but well done and worth noting is A Day in the Life of a Mom which brought me to A Day in the Life of a Stripper which of course gets interesting as far as spicy goes. No heavy content here. Just fun. Also a link from the Mom Blog was What’s Normal Again? which I picked out because it has one of those Video feeds I mentionned above. You gotta like country!
The feed is provided by Hotcodez.com

Here’s one posted by the boys called Desparate Husband and unfortunately, as I read on this guy is desparate. I certainly hope things start looking up for him or he better change his outlook on life. He does have a couple of spicy links.

Tiny voices in my Head is an active blog done by Dawn (aka Webmiztris). Why report on this blog? Well for one she does have a nice line up of songs on her radio.blog, also mentionned above. Mothing much on the spicy side here, as she mentions in her profile this is her Shit. Also worth a look since she is a an office manager of a Web Design outfit.

Ok so if you’ve read this far, and haven’t been schocked… Here come the spicier ones…
Don’t read any further if you are easily offended. The bottom part of today’s review, will be spicy Hot. This is only the mid section…and I found a lot of them this time.

I’m Also a Sexual Being Sounds pretty serious and it probably is. The profile reads: The primary ramblings of my sexual starvation and the hunger to reclaim the sexual being that I am…. True stories it would seem. Written in a rather tasty and conservative fashion. I enjoyed browsing through it. I appreciate people who can express themselves, that wouldn’t say shit if they had a mouth full. I consider it a talent.

The only thing that didn’t put Sassybrat.net in the milder category above is that her links get pretty spicy. Doing Things with Skin is Hot. It even has a forum attached to it that I may even join to sneak a peak. The stories here are written by a few good hands. This blog is about writing Erotica. As I’m finding out, our Friend mentionned above Desparate Husband is one of the writers. Nice little circle. Perhaps SassyBrat is too?

The next one, also a link from SassyBrat is The Blog Whore again lots to read here, cute frontpage too. Naughty girl, hasn’t been around blogging judging from the archives which only go back to June.

Spicy Links were found on O/our Journey in D/s. Mind you the blog itself didn’t do much for me. A little S&M from what I can see with a link to QUEENDOM OF
    GODDESS KIKA
. I’m not much into this stuff, but I do have to report it as I did trip on it. Not too many guy blogs out there. The best link found, which contain tons more was thepillowbook.com. The blog itself is hosted by Leila, but her partner Wolfe contributes too. What attracted me the most were the links. However, once I took a few moments to read, I noticed that it’s split up into two separate jounals. Nicely done. Perhaps I’ll dig deeper into the links later.

    …Ok Later is now!!

The Pillowbook mentionned just above has tons of links, one of which caught my attention: Sir Rodney’s Porn blog reviews This blog itself is not pure porn, but it pretty well leads to it on every click! A few pictures while I visited, but nothing too offensive. Look out when you click!
    From Gramponante
To finish off today, Gramponante is a real stand alone blog that’s got lot’s of sexy stuff on it. Including a Boingboing type of reporting on neat stories . A regular must see if this is what you’re looking for.

Well that’s it for this week, hope you were as enternained reading it as I was putting it together. See you next week.

DH Blog Spicy - The First True Post

Welcome to the first post on DH Blog Spicy. All previous posts were taken from the original DH Blog, which is still on going as my personal journal. The Spicy bit has an orientation of it’s own which you may read about in the introduction category of this blog. It explains a little background and history of how DH Blog Spicy came about.

Still while I was setting up Spicy on Wordpress, I ventured out on Google to see what it would bring back on Husbands. (Inactive) I took the first 20 pages of results and sifted through. That’s about an hour process.

I chose to start off with Being Christine because it’s active and so real. Everyday relationship problems for so many. I love her expression at the top,

"We’re all in this together, by ourselves"

This maybe one of the ones worth following. 43 things 43 Things is about writing down a goal and achieving it. It is in blog format and at the time it qualified…something about forgiving my husband. Point is this page can provide hours of surfing. Pretty good quality too. The main thing here is you get inspired. Set a goal for yourself and achieve it. There should be more like this " Do good Blog " There appeared to be a lot of participants, mind you I had never heard of it…You?

This maybe one of the ones worth following. is about writing down a goal and achieving it. It is in blog format and at the time it qualified…something about forgiving my husband. There should be more like this " Do good Blog " There appeared to be a lot of participants, mind you I had never heard of it…You?

Not my speed but worth mentioning A submissive blog written by a young lady. Why worth it? Well written…Lots of links Here’s one off topic a bit, Pinuptoons, has some great images. The idea of course is to buy signed prints and there appears to be an affiliation with suicidegirls.com and I may have seen the word Yahoo somewhere in there. Nevertheless, Pinuptoons is so well done it’s worth a whirl.

I write, therefore I blog is probably the last normal one listed in this review… Identifies herself as a "displaced American writer, mom, and wife living in Canada". If my memory serves me right, presently pregnant. Many healthy links to other pregnant mommies. Ali herself, writes rather well and can really pick her rants and good moments. Photos of some of her favourite artist and of course some family stuff. On the Spicier side of Blogging I ran into a few worth mentionning and I will probably list some that were ommitted last week, when I was putting Wordpress together for DH Blog Spicy.

Tiny Nibbles is about Violet Blue. I wasn’t familiar with this character, but some of you maybe. As a sex educator, she has written and edited several books. None of them about Bugs bunny if you know what I mean. The page is well done, as in it’s not trashy, but it does have a few explicit pictures on the subject. The books there are reviewed with links if you’d lile to brush up with your reading. No headache here!

Beautiful Agony Someone put together over 100 people having orgasms. No nudity. So of course lots of facial expressions. Check it out you can click on some of their faces and download their whole experience… or whatever you want to call it. For the time being I’ve managed a hotlink picture, if it goes I’ll have to replace it. Well if you’ve read this far, here comes the candy! I tripped upon The following links doing the above research. I’ve decided to leave them in.

……………………………..Do not read beyond here …………………………….

 This one claims to be a blog a Blowjob-blog You can go along with it if you wish. Sure they may even be educational material in there. Check it out.

This is also in a blog format, more like High definition Well done pics. No trash here.  thenudiepages.com Magazine style.

The following one… leads to other XXX sites. Mind you for just a quick browse it caught my attention. No Pop ups (on the screen) or anything. Warning Adult content yourdirtymind This is not a blog, I was lead here from a blog, I swear.

Similar to the above one but a lot more HC. Again, No Pop ups (on the screen).  Warning Adult content XXX stileproject.com

Blog Rolls - Part of DH Research

It’s 1 week before summer shutdown at work. Needless to say I’m enjoying the air conditionned room at home. In the evenings, I give myself about an hour of quiet time before bed. Boingboing has become my favourite veg spot. When I get bored or can’t concentrate any more, I start looking for weird blogs.

I’ve done this before, I call this my DH Research. Why? Because I try to find blogs where the Ladies make references to my DH. Sometimes I find Men take a beating, other times I come across ladies that report some rather intimate stuff. I normally wouldn’t expect these stories posted publicly by women. It’s usually the guys that we expect to brag. I’ve found reading these intimate reports rather fun. In a schocking way, because I didn’t expect it. Not that I mind or anything! :-)
Some blogs are a little too much for me. Yes I am looking for people that write about their partners but not too much. Thehappyhusband is on the too much side for me. I believe you don’t need religion to make this thing work. So I tripped on it gave it some time, too many Christian references for me. I am more prone to go back and visit myxxxblog! Not that I found too many references about DH in that one. My search did however eventually bring it up.

Sometimes I trip on great stuff: Birthdiaries. Amazing to find all these people posting shots of their deliveries. Would you? Some things I just rather leave out.

Masculinisme Un site ultra anti-feministe contre la misandrie. This blog goes back and forth from French to English. It is written by somebody who is not to happy with the ladies in general. Somehow you get the feeling that he’s trying to do this in a tastefull way. You be the judge.

Some blogs come across as real Sexual guides for couples. Tinynibbles, is extremely well done in this category. Keep it proffessional, keep it clean, informative…etc. Yes I will go back. No it’s not porn, and that’s the beauty of it.

DH search expressions also returned results that appealed to me in literature. I you can call it that! This site, Just Wife stories, is full of tantalizing tales. I browsed a few got the idea and moved on. Still worth noting. This is a collection of Wife stories from Kristen’s collection. Kristen’s are part of Alt.Sex.Stories Text Repository. I guess Kristen is just one of the authors. If you dig back to the root of the url, you’ll get the rest of the stuff.

Another instance of back and forth french an english scripts is at

In search of my soul. But before you venture there be prepared for some rough passages. This appears to be a little S&M blogging. By the same token, if you find the time to go beyond the story, look at the disclaimer - Which I thought was great and pick up on what else this person likes to do! Cooking!.

Well, if you tripped on this! I hope it entertained you. I will continue my search and make bookmarks. See you on this topic soon.

On the Subject of Dear Husband

Well here I go again on another search for DH stuff. The last one of these kept me quite busy near the end, if you know what I mean. Today’s search has turned up better stuff on the subject of Dear Husband. Some of it I won’t be posting here, I’ll post them in the humour category of this blog.

As for the results of my findings, well I decided to omit all religious references, and there are a lot, that refer to husbands traveling. Many more for just plain praying. It’s not my cup of tea, however if you wish to do your own search on the subject, be my guest.

I’ve also omitted poetry from my findings, I find them a little too much. Makes my stomach go tilt…A little too sweet for me. Ok fine, I’ll say it: Makes me puke my guts out.

So now that, we’ve got that out of the way, what types of results will I be posting? I went along with DH references that do not stand necessarily for Dear Husband. I came across Dick Head along with others. I will be posting some very decent family blogs, long running too. I was kind of glad to run into these. Cheers me up actually.

Last time as I was doing my research, I left a few comments. One of the ones was Chicken Little, who just folded up her blog and walked away. This time, I left no comments. I’m sure after a few days I will re-visit and leave comments.

Where as last time, I was using Blog search engines for my results, this time I used Google. Still what showed up was 50% blogs, as opposed to plain websites.

Observation: All blogs reported below owned by ladies. I guess guys don’t write about their husbands
A lot of young mothers are writing out there. I think it’s great to have the time to do it. I don’t know too many married young men that have that luxury!

Pish Tosh That is one of the more solid ones. Well written. The reference to DH is in this link…The blog is active.

Perpetually pregnan. This is steamy to say the least. The link wasn’t the original post that I tripped on… This was, but as I kept reading the current posts and the comments that go along with it I decided to link the former. This blog has plenty of reading, over a year’s worth of posts. Good stuff too.

K and the 3 D’s is almost too normal for me. I tripped on it because of the reference to Dear Husband, as I’ve tripped on all of these. This one is boring compared to Perpetually pregnant.
    It gets points for style!

Foxy Mama’s Blog has a lot of mentions of Dear Husband. All nice stuff. Pleasant to read.

Easily Amused showed up in my search because of Birthday wishes. I found it to be entertaining and well done. Lot’s of links to other fun stuff.

So Close . Congradulations on twin Babies. You can read all about it here. However the reference to DH is about Dick Head. Feeling a little cranky?

City Mama .Yeap, another recent mother. This time acknowledging her hubby for not minding picking tampons…But lot’s to read here. Well written too. Mostly for young mothers.

Anyway! That’s it for tonight. So to be fair, out of 7 Blogs! 5 DH’s referenced as DH’s. One referenced as an asshole and another as Dick Head. One really juicy one.

    Introduction

As I dig deeper into the blogging thing… It’s just becoming another media. Perhaps an easier or friendlier way than creating a web page for most. As a running journal, with comments, it becomes very much alive and interactive….

Now some people enjoy just using it as a Diary, others as self expression. Of the diary crowd, some don’t know whether they’ll ever be read. Of the self expression group, some will go to any length to make sure they get followers.

DH Spicy, begun as a summary of my findings, as I researched blogs containing the following critrias: dh, Dear Husband, my dh, husbands, worst husband, best husband etc. I found my self amused at the some of the findings. I decided to omit the religious ties and the military ties, to narrow my reports. Please note I do acknowledge both categories I just choose not to post them to keep this bouncing on a cheerier note.

I generally use the following format: I start off with rather normal findings, family moment types, move into the unusual but as always I find the leads usually take me to some rather perverse site. Sometimes it may be a link of somebody’s blog that showed up in my searches. I save these for the last paragraphs.

For copy-write reasons, I try to avoid clip and paste into this blog. I link to the blogs I am reporting on. If you are easily offended by adult content, some of the material on DH Spicy is not for you. As you progress throughout one of my research blogs, you may choose to stop reading or clicking. I will try to make this obvious. If you are not offended, stop by once in a while and have fun.

    Update August 14th, 2005

For the last couple of months, my efforts have been on reviewing Blogs.  I’ve yet never had a comment posted…No big deal, but a conscious observation.  At first, I worked out of a Blog, called DH Blog.  More of a Daily Journal for me, than anything else.  The idea came up as I read my wife’s message board and realized how many references were made to DH.

As I researched DH references on the net, I found myself surprised at the variation of material involved.  I didn’t want it as part of the DH Blog, which was more of a family oriented reference.    I changed software, from Pmachine to Wordpress and split the work into two different blogs.

The Original DH Blog goes on, and there is a DH Blog Spicy which reviews other blogs I found referencing in detail, people’s and couple’s sex lives and other related subjects.  It is no longer about research and findings on the DH factor.  It has become a review of Adult Blogs.

Today I’m adding a second category to this blog:  Tasty Art and Photography Reviews

It comes about by researching how Blog users have great headers on the spicy blogs…Tasty, Sexy Art and Photography. No Hardcore. The reviews will consist of links where you may browse people’s work. There is no original work here. Simply references for your entertainment and information. I will sometimes downsize a photo and link it to it’s original size. There is no intent of copy-write here. I hope to help promote the tasty work that I find.

    Update October 19th, 2005

Having succumbed to the iPod thing, I’ve added a section for Adult Podcasting.  Here I look mostly for well told stories.  I find there are very few.  However, I will post whatever findings in the Adult Podcasting area.

    Update November 6th, 2005

So far, I’ve had no banner of my own.  As of today, I will be rotating a new format of banner.  I hope to raise interest for visitors who come for the reviews.  The new banners will only be posted as I post a new entry.  I may in time host previous banners in a gallery for user reference.  The banners will be made up of a photo at each extremity, taken from a photographer or an artist.  In a previous blog I use to promote the work of pinup artist Olivia De Berardinis and Joseph Michael Linsner.  I intend to do this again.  There will be an entry in each blog crediting the artist or photographer associating publications or websites.

    Update December 17th, 2005

I decided to hold a Christmas party and invited a few blogging peers.  The outcome was a success.  There will now be a Chat Board associated with DHSpicy’s blog.  The evening was great.  2 1/2 hours of fun and play amongst people who can really play well.  Cyber Adult Salon you could call it.  The event was successful and will be repeated.  You can get the details here, or the details of the permanent board here

    Theme update January, 2006

Due to some difficulties and lack of answers, I have dropped the Blue bye You theme.  I have found some ease in manipulating Kubrick’s default skin on Wordpress and switched over.  I was able to re-introduce the rotating banner and easily configure the polls, without screwing the entire sidebar.  Mind you the latter, due to my lack of knowledge as well.  There also seems to be more support available for it.  I find it easier to work with, and I can achieve better control of the blog layout.

I’ve also introduced, a statistic plug in that gives me, much more accurate results, than trying to decipher server traffic.  This has enabled me to reach out to a few users, I wasn’t aware were visiting or re-directing traffic to DH Spicy’s.

The new skin also allowed me to add in a tabbed menu, which over time I will take advantage of.  As of January the 10th, I’ve added a link to this Intro, as well as a link to a couple of static pages I’ve done such as the chat and a Link list.

The Link list is a summary of places I’ve reviewed or mentioned in this blog.  In January, it started off with 300 entries.

    After a Year - Behind the Reviews - April 15th, 2006

Yes I’m still finding new talent or new story tellers.  No I’m not picking them up from search engines these days and not from the Sugarbank.  I do find them by surfing and going from link to link.  So if you’re a little disappointed because I’m reviewing something you already have, many more people need to know about your little secrets.  Much talent to be unveiled here.

Again my admiration goes to all of you that are talented enough to dream this stuff up or generous enough to tell the rest of the world about your experiences.   Whether you consider it self therapy or whether you have the urge to tell all, my objective is for the most part to expose you.  I don’t take request to do reviews, I do however take requisitions from third parties.

These reviews are about erotic writing - I prefer the blog format - mind you I will occasionally venture out to boards.  It’s not about porn, however I will sometimes touch those boundaries too.

By the end of April, I will have been at it for a year!  At that time I will update my Links list.  This list, is made up of places I’ve mentioned in my reviews.  I have found that some of you sometimes decide to take down your blogs, others, just stop contributing but leave the material up.  For whatever reasons:   Time constraints on your habits, change of lifestyles, forced by your loved one.

Established bloggers step down, others step up and become the new established blood.  I have also found more and more reviews such as mine.   All writers are unique.

I do not use any sponsors, I sponsor my venture.  As I embark a second year, I will try to bring you new goodies to keep you entertained.  Last year I introduced the chat.  There are no ads here, no pop ups.  Should you get them while visiting my site, get your system checked.

I have learned through the year, that the blogging community is tightly knit.  A lot of support for one another.  This has been an added bonus in my venture.  I have made new friends, chances are we’ll never meet.  That’s also part of the fun and the mystique.

I’ve updated the Link List:  There are now, over 400 entries, which include over 200 adult blogs.  In updating, I also removed about 45 inactive or deceased blogs.  I’ve added a few categories beneath too.

    Chicken Little

Chicken Little If you ever find this post. I’m sorry I scared you off. Blogs have become such a way of communication…I stumbled on your blog and probably left you a comment. What ever the case, the following morning, you’re entire blog had disapeared! My search, to come across your blog was "DH" . As my blog in entitled Dear Husband. image

I can only assume you didn’t think anybody was reading it. Sorry to have scared you off!
So many people out there using blogs as a diary. Don’t forget, depending on your configuration, anyone has access. There are ways, with some blogs to disable comments, disable RSS feeds etc. If you want it private, don’t blog it. Or if you don’t want to have to deal with comments, disable them.
If you want a diary, you may be looking for an alternative. Blogs, shouldn’t be the answer to a diary, unless you are writing it, in the form of a journal for everyone to read.
The above statement by your provider is not entirely correct. It is not personal. Online journal, Share your thoughts, photos etc is OK. Just not personal. I believe they mean it’s your own personal space. But it’s certainly not private by any means.
    I read the provider’s options…
We do not believe in locking in our users. Since the get-go, we have always offered easy export options (via HTML or XML format) to all accounts to always leave the option to switch services open to our users.
image

There’s of course lot’s more, but if you just start typing away, without looking at the configuration options, chances are you are going public.
    Here’s a definition from webopedia.com:
(n.) Short for Web log, a blog is a Web page that serves as a publicly accessible personal journal for an individual. Typically updated daily, blogs often reflect the personality of the author. (v.) To author a Web log.

Other forms: Blogger (a person who blogs).
Here is another
Weblog A weblog, or *blog, is a frequently updated website consisting of dated entries arranged in reverse chronological order so the most recent post appears first (see temporal ordering). Typically, weblogs are published by individuals and their style is personal and informal. Weblogs first appeared in the mid-1990s, becoming popular as simple and free publishing tools became available towards the turn of the century. Since anybody with a net connection can publish their own weblog, there is great variety in the quality, content, and ambition of weblogs, and a weblog may have anywhere from a handful to tens of thousands of daily readers. Examples of the *genre exist on a continuum from *confessional, online *diaries to logs tracking specific topics or activities through links and commentary. Though weblogs are primarily textual, experimentation with sound, *images, and videos has resulted in related genres such as photoblogs, videoblogs, and audioblogs (see intermediality; media and narrative). Most weblogs use links generously, allowing readers to follow conversations between weblogs by following links between entries on related topics. Readers may start at any point of a weblog, seeing the most recent entry first, or arriving at an older post via a search engine or a link from another site, often another weblog. Once at a weblog, readers can read on in various orders: chronologically, thematically, by following links between entries or by searching for keywords. Weblogs also generally include a blogroll, which is a list of links to other weblogs the author recommends. Many weblogs allow readers to enter their own comments to individual posts. Weblogs are serial and cumulative, and readers tend to read small amounts at a time, returning hours, days, or weeks later to read entries written since their last visit. This serial or episodic structure is similar to that found in *epistolary novels or *diaries, but unlike these a weblog is open-ended, finishing only when the writer tires of writing (see narrative structure). Many weblog entries are shaped as brief, independent narratives, and some are explicitly or implicitly fictional, though the standard genre expectation is non-fiction.
I’m sure there are many chicken littles out there, So Beware.
