Routine Stuff

In the morning, I like to get up, head downtairs and nuke a cup of last night’s coffee, come back to our room and surf.  Of course much of my time these days, is spent going from blog to blog to examine content and style.   Personally, I’m not about to hang my bedroom stuff on this blog.  However, I do enjoy surfing other people’s (in case you hadn’t noticed).  With a 13 year old hanging about, my surfing can get pretty tense.  Let alone my posting.

So why do I do it?  Well, it’s certainly got my attention.  Ok much of it is curiosity about what goes on behind other people’s closed doors.  Sex has always been a successful way to watch something turn into a commercial media.  Sex sells on the net.  For the time being and hopefully a long time, the Blog thing will remain free. 

Sure the host assumes certain costs, such host provider fees and in some cases software fees.  For the most part it is a time investment.  Most I’ve seen, very appealing to browse through.  Instead of finding competion, you find links promoting others.

Some people have started putting Google ads on their blogs.  Some seem to have sponsored links to other heavy Websites.  Heavy?  Yes, the non blog ones that are just there for you to pay a fee and get off in front of your screen.  Funny, there appears to be enough free stuff out there.  To me this is not deemed necessary.  Which brings us back to our first point…Sex sells on the net.
