While reviewing Spicy Blogs, I found myself intrigued at where people get the images for their Welcome header.  Some are so clever, others very tasty bubble gum art and some have drop dead gorgeous photo shots.  These were always referenced as credits and I started looking them up.  What I found instead of artists trying to peddle their work on the sidewalk, was clever galleries promoting the artists’ work. 

In most cases, we’re not talking Art galleries or Museum here, Simply cyberwork.  I will be reviewing well known as well as lesser know artists giving you the Urls where the work can be found.

The Art of Love features several types of Art as well as many artists.  The website is split up in the following categories. 

Erotic Art                                                                              

What I like most is the explanation about each type of Art.  So well done.  You can easily spend an hour here discovering different artist an their work.  Some of the above listed categories contain sub categories that dig deeper into erotism.  This was my first search result on Google and for obvious reasons.  High quality set up.

The site’s primary objective appears to be the promotion of Adult Games. I just spent a minute or two browsing, but if that’s what you’re into check it out.  The promoted game is  LoveChess, an erotic chess game.  Where as I found prices and downloads for the adult games, I didn’t find references references on how to acquire the artwork at first.  As you follow the links embedded in the photos, you can get to their website and review availabilty and prices, but not in all cases.  As you browse into a popup window of every gallery, there is a link to Art Of Love Print Shop.  It appears to have the goods for sale!

It also has Erotic Links for everyone!  Meaning they are nicely categorized into about 5 areas, one of them being Blogs which I will most likely check out for the next Spicy Review.

For the last couple of months, my efforts have been on reviewing Blogs.  I’ve yet never had a comment posted…No big deal, but a conscious observation.  At first, I worked out of a Blog, called DH Blog.  More of a Daily Journal for me, than anything else.  The idea came up as I read my wife’s message board and realized how many refernces were made to DH.

As I researched DH references on the net, I found myself surprised at the variation of material involved.  I didn’t want it as part of the DH Blog, which was more of a family oriented refernce.    I changed software, from Pmachine to Wordpress and split the work into two different blogs.

The Original DH Blog goes on.  This blog is DH Blog Spicy which reviews other blogs I found referencing in detail, people’s and couple’s sex lives.

Today I’m adding a second category to this blog:  Tasty Art and Photography Reviews

It comes about by researching how Blog users have great headers on the spicy blogs…Tasty, Sexy Art and Photography. No Hardcore. The reviews will consist of links where you may browse people’s work. There is no original work here. Simply references for your entertainment and information. I will sometimes downsize a photo and link it to it’s original size. There is no intent of copywrite here. I hope to help promote the tasty work that I find.

Well it’s finally the week end, time to for me to clean out the fancy links I picked up this week!  You review this week!!  I post the links.  Same order.  First list is closer to family oriented (which is how the original concept started), The second list will be Spicy, with containing Text stories that have a somewhat sexual direction.  It would seem there’s a lot of people out there willing to share their personal experiences.  The last list, contains pictures of nudity.  Some tasty like from a contest others just plain raw!

Just observing how footloose and fancy free people are with their Spicy blogs…I mean, If your neighbours were Jack and Sally and you read their naughty blog…or even better, you regularly read Sally’s naughty blog…Ran into them on the street what would you say?  Oh nice entry, sounds like you guys really got it off!  Was it good for you Jack? 

I don’t think so…

I think, the readers and the authors have never laid eyes on each other.  90% of the time anyway.  I say the 10% are probably into it and couldn’t care less.  Matter of fact, the 10% probably thrives on it.  So what about the 90%?  Well it just becomes this wide sort of sex network.  I don’t think Ms or Mr. submissive blogs about it for the boyscout moms or his buddies at work. 

I’m not referring to the creative writing group, mind you I’d bet most of them don’t brag about their stories to their immediate social circle.  "Hey did you read Donna’s story last night?"  "How does she come up with this stuff."  Some of them are beyond creative writing.  Some of them are bordering sick puppy writing.

Blogs with personal pictures also keep my attention spand.  Imagine, your boss’s wife nice booby shot or full frontal.  What do you say to him?  "Mr. Jones, give my regards to your wife."  "Tell her I love the new shots, you’re a lucky guy Mr. Jones"  Then there’s the one about the music teacher, Miss Applebee.  "Oh we love your new instrument, Miss Applebee.  The one on your blog!"  I’m sure the principal, would be surfing in no time. 

Enough of the stories, I’m sure you know where I’m going with this.  These revelations are most likely not meant for your next door neighbours.  Still they’re meant to be read, and hopefully commented on.  As I said in my previous post, it’s not only content, it’s also presentation.  Which leads me to my next area.  Some of the ones I’ve reviewed are fabulous…  Here are some goodies.

In the morning, I like to get up, head downtairs and nuke a cup of last night’s coffee, come back to our room and surf.  Of course much of my time these days, is spent going from blog to blog to examine content and style.   Personally, I’m not about to hang my bedroom stuff on this blog.  However, I do enjoy surfing other people’s (in case you hadn’t noticed).  With a 13 year old hanging about, my surfing can get pretty tense.  Let alone my posting.

So why do I do it?  Well, it’s certainly got my attention.  Ok much of it is curiosity about what goes on behind other people’s closed doors.  Sex has always been a successful way to watch something turn into a commercial media.  Sex sells on the net.  For the time being and hopefully a long time, the Blog thing will remain free. 

Sure the host assumes certain costs, such host provider fees and in some cases software fees.  For the most part it is a time investment.  Most I’ve seen, very appealing to browse through.  Instead of finding competion, you find links promoting others.

Some people have started putting Google ads on their blogs.  Some seem to have sponsored links to other heavy Websites.  Heavy?  Yes, the non blog ones that are just there for you to pay a fee and get off in front of your screen.  Funny, there appears to be enough free stuff out there.  To me this is not deemed necessary.  Which brings us back to our first point…Sex sells on the net.
