New Banner Concept
So far, I’ve had no banner of my own. As of today, I will be rotating a new format of banner. I hope to raise interest for visitors who come for the reviews. The new banners will only be posted as I post a new entry. I may, in time, host previous banners in a gallery for user reference. The banners will be made up of a photo at each extremity, taken from a photographer or an artist.
The new banner, is thicker and with the photos added at each end, makes the graphic a little heavier to load. A few seconds longer perhaps. Nevertheless, well worth it.
In a previous blog I use to promote the work of pinup artist Olivia De Berardinis and Joseph Michael Linsner. I intend to feature these again. There will be an entry in each blog crediting the artist or photographer, associating their work with publications or websites.
The first series of banners I’ve designed, 11 in all, are of photos from a book entitled Love Lust and Desire by author Michelle Olley. The best reviews I’ve found about the author were from Amazon.com:
"Love Lust Desire is the ultimate book of erotic photography for couples, featuring the best work of the leading erotic photographers. These photographs celebrate the ways in which people express their sexuality, from fetishism to fantasy, and show the beauty of the naked male and female form. The images of couples bring a new dimension to the nude study, while the range of photographers, with their different approaches, provides a comprehensive review of erotic photography over the last century. Superbly and lavishly illustrated with outstanding color, duotone, and black and white photographs by some of the century’s best photographers including Michael Childers, Bob Carlos Clarke, Wolfgang Eichler, Nan Goldin, James & James, Pierre et Gilles, Housk Randall, Wolfgang Tillmans and Trevor Watson."

Back to the regular program
Of course it’s the week end and I find myself an early riser with some time to kill…Hence the reviews. My week days are a little too hectic even for a mid week post. The fall, winter and early spring also draw my attention to other interests. No I don’t mean shoveling! I’m trying to
pass this on to our son this year.
. There’s plenty to do on the net for indoor days.
With my day off yesterday, I watched Tim Burton’s Nightmare before Christmas. This brings me back to some Halloween follow ups!
I found someone posting pumpkin shots, people took shots of my pumpkin this year, that was a first! Orgyparty had a couple of good pumpkin shots. Wish mine had been that good!
Shay over at The S-Spot also had a great Halloween post. As a rule she likes to review Sex toys. Fun blog and informative, there are enough resources in the sidebar to get your fill!
If you feel like reading up on a Vancouver Sex shop, it has a little blog attached to it that explains a bit about the birds and the bees! Honey is the name of the store, Pillowtalk is the name of the blog. Not very active, but it’ll explain the expression "fucks like a mink".
The posts over at What are we Doing are not exactly regular, neither is the subject matter. Nicely done.
The Red Sneaker Diaries is a great stop over, short quick reads to the point. Sidebar filled with goodies to keep on surfing. It’s a watcher.
Show and Tell
A Corinthian Couple has a fun concept going, if you are a bit of an exhibitionist, they’ll be happy to post your pics on their blog.
I’ve done some photo reviews, this one is fun because the gentleman is just getting into it, experimenting with different filters and aspects of image manipulation. Late Starter using himself and his partner as subject matter pulls some decent shots.
I observed how little we know about one another, even in this small community…I’ve been exchanging posts with AlexSuze, just to discover that today is Bonfire day. A celebration of the capture of Guy Fawkes.
British indeed. My father in law is Liverpudlian. For the record, as it’s nowhere in my profile, I am
. So for those of you having Bonfire day, Have a nice day and enjoy the bangers. By the way, if you Google Banger girls, you get interesting results! Very different than if you Google Banger guys. Interestingly, the results vary all together if you drop the gender thing and just Google Bangers. Well now, we can all see Fireworks right?

Magazines and resources
Another Friday off for me! I only have two left after this…So here’s my early morning post.
Blog Universe is like a directory of resources split up into categories. If you’re looking for some surfing, you can get click happy there.
Sometimes, you’re in the the mood for much more than blog stuff…Sex Blogger has just that! Yes it’s about blogs but not necessarily the ones you read, I found more stuff to look at there than to read. Of course, for many of the links, you have to be a member, still there are a few other perks to the site.
Clean Sheets calls itself, an erotica magazine, and it delivers it. Nice place and the type I will certainly go back to once in a while.
SFGate covers daily stuff but has a great sidebar that will take you to the areas you’re looking for. Check it out!
The most commercial magazine I ran into today, The Sex Blog had content. As you sift through all the advertising, chances are you’ll find something you like.
Let’s finish off with a fun one, Veresch.com has a fun one to identify fake boobs, see how you do!
Halloween is over and already Christmas decorations are out in many malls, and as you flip through the tube, TV commercials for Christmas shoppers are already being aired! Just blows me away.
Have a good Friday
