For those of you less familiar, with my original concept, let me take a few moments to explain.  For those of you already familiar, skip to the 3rd paragraph! 

The idea was to discover references to DH "Dear Husband"  the original blog, still stands as my personal journal.  At one point, the DH references took a direction of their own, which I felt were not entirely family oriented.  Thus was born, DH Spicy.  I transposed the spicier posts to this blog and kept the other blog on a more personal note.

3rd Paragraph

I went on with the Spicy blog.  It’s been nice to be noted, but most of all it’s been wonderful to give, those who deserve it, some exposure.  By searching and exposing I feel I brought together a basic group of talented people who can write freely about their own experiences and others that are very good at expressing their feelings into fiction.

As I did this, I obviously started excluding my roots: - The DH factor took a back seat.  Mind you I find, that many writers are those more confident in their own relationships.  Very often married.  At the beginning I also found that most writers were women.  I use to point it out when I found a guy’s blog.  Searching blogs through Google or blog engines; it was very rewarding putting my lists together a couple of times a week.  At the same time, I found On line Magazines worth reporting and a few other trinkets. 

What is the point of getting exposure?  Is it "Look what I can do!"  "See what I did?"  Is it responding to a dare?  Or is it just a flavour of blogging?  What cute little surveys that I run once in a while show, (btw, response has been very poor of late) is that most writers in this field, let’s call it adult blog, erotic writing, show n tell…whatever, would prefer their mom and dad and close friends and brothers and sisters and kids not know about it.  But the rest of the world must know about it, other wise what’s the point?

To a non blogger, the above statement would make absolutely no sense, yet it does to bloggers.  Most of us have day jobs that we’d like to keep.  Scandalous it might be, if the word got out.  What would the Jones’ think!  There’s also the element for some, that it’s "my little secret" while others may eventually share with their close ones, and some will do it, ’till they get caught.

Express yourself through a reality check or fiction using the www world as the validation.  It is quite a challenge if you think about it, and it works!  A hell of a lot better than what the Jones might say.  The Jones are probably prudes anyway.  So’s your boss! (or maybe not).

Last September, a new concept came up.  Porn review site,  The Sugarbank, put together a sign up system to bring forward erotic blog writers that wanted exposure.  Excellent idea, the first rounds, if my memory serves me right were entitled Bloggasm.  Sam Sugar, publisher, found obvious success with it,  and it became The Sugasm list.  People sign up, must qualify to basic criterias and they get published.  Part of this qualification is to republish the list on your blog… You can get the real Mcoy of how to go about it by reading the Sugasm FAQ.  (I always wondered why people post this list on their blog).  This list publishes weekly and many transcribe it to their site.   I welcome any corrections to my concept of it here.

The point is, it’s another outlet for writer’s get out there.  More recently, The Secret Brain’s Artful Dodger came out with a similar concept, BlogStormz with perhaps less bells and whistles attached to it.  Very pleasant and easy to take part in.  I haven’t done a full study, but a quick study would show that not everyone cross posts their links to both BlogStormz and Sugasm.  BlogStormz, really doesn’t have the package that will qualify you or not, compared to Sugasm.  You pretty well qualify to BlogStormz, as long as you leave a link.  Yet I found they attract a slightly different crowd.  The Sugasm thing is perhaps too much  baggage for some, while others may feel they need to carry that baggage to belong.  Whatever!  I feel they are both valid conduits to get exposure.

But there’s so much more…

…outside of Blog World if you’d like to get exposure.  Here are some other channels I found to get proper exposure and perhaps a proper crack at getting published:

Literotica - It has an excellent set of guidelines to submit to their site.

Sensual Venus - Take a good look at this puppy, explore the site too. 

Writing-world.com - Offers plenty of tips and guidelines for writing in general.

I persnoally think the blog factor has done a lot in the last year for self expression containing sexual content.  The terms erotica, adult writing, adult blog are seen much more.  This certain group knows how to control.  Where not to cross the line into porn.  Knows when and where to stop.  At the same time it knows how far to push and keep it a tasty story.  how to create a fantasy and how to turn the fantasy into a possibility.

So who’s reading?  Well I have found that it’s a shared interest group at the blogging level.  I for one, wouldn’t want that aspect of it to disapear.  My stats show a similar story, that people from other blogs are visiting.  The truth is, once a person gets looped into it, he/she checks out the other links.  Even though  it appears on my stats to come from another blogger, it could be a total stanger visiting that has just left another blog.  A lot of Google searches.

So now can you add to this?

As I do once in a while, today is clean up day, sometimes I don’t get around to post tasty links, so today I’ll throw the whole thing at you with less comments, but I’m sure you” check them out on your own and draw your own conclusions.

This blog is active, has been around since last July, so there’s plenty of content there.  The presentation is done on Blogger displayed on a pleasant theme.  The sidebar is full of goodies if you feel like checking the links.

A young couple share their moments with us on Frisky CA Couple, you’ll find some hot moments there as well as some HNT’s.  The blog is updated regularly and there’s even a shot of Desirous’ boxers sported by Vincent!

Some Lucky Guy is thrilled to tell us about his new girlfriend Gesa on his new blog!  Every detail!  You’ll find some tasty pics of this young couple too.

My Bottom Smarts is a spanking blog.  Nicely done.  Read Bonnie’s introduction posted last September, and you know you’re in for a treat.  Side bar filled with clever references and links.  You don’t have to be into spanking to read this blog, and if you came to gawk at pictures don’t bother clicking…You go there to read and it’s a good read!

 Looking for something really hot?  Try Happy Humping, this one was brought to my attention through Blogstormz .  Here, you can count on lot’s of graphics, if that’s what you’re looking for.  Brand new, just about 2 months old, these two have really set out to let us right in to their little world.  If you go back to the first post, the introduction is rather forward .

 Get ready for another good read.  This one done by a Gentleman:  The Holiday Life.  I read a few entries, soon it was clear as stated, that these may be only stories.  Not necessarily a reality report.  Mind you I have a feeling, they intertwined.

Have a nice evening all!  I’ll be at the Xmen movie "The Last Stand" .  At 14, DS didn’t show that much fascination with the Davinci Code!  Oh well, maybe I’ll pick up the book or wait for the DVD.

Users of Internet Explorer:  Word of Warning Before upgrading to IE7 Beta take in consideration that ie6 is not a bad product.  Mozilla has a lot of features Microsoft recognizes as valuable, but they are far from it.  My first install failed, I had to play with the registry.  Links opening in a new window always failed.  Send error report and close browser.  Not very convenient for writing on line.

My Interface to Wordpress with Mozilla is not perfect, but it’s a lot better than the Beta IE7 at this point.  As curious as you maybe I suggest you wait before you upgrade, unless you have a lot of time on your hands.  Or just get used to Mozilla.  More on this later as I try to re-install ie6.

So much for the Wet T-Shirt Blog Day…Poll…Not much of a response here.  I think we’ll ditch that one!   Good idea, bad idea… That’ll be the latter please.

Mind you I will attach a new poll to this post tomorrow night.  Give you some thinking time.  Previously, almost one of my first polls, the question was, " Do you use Sex  T▒O▒Ys".   I think tomorrow will be, add your own answers and more along the line of "which is your favourite Sex  T▒O▒Y? 

At one point or another, curiosty will get you to investigate a certain Adult Play Thing.  I don’t want to use the word T▒O▒Y. 

Many of you, who stop by regularly, have written about your favourite play thing(s).  While others shudder at the thoughts of these foreign objects entering their lifestyle.

By way of Ana’s Sexualité blog… In early April, I started being fascinated by  photos from photographer Eddie Ostrowski.  As I am not an art critique myself,  I’ve decided to feature his photos by linking his previous reviews and works, which are spanned through many websites.  I personally enjoy his work and I think you will too.

Eddie is presently 37 years old and working out of California.   Originally a painter, but always fascinated by photography, he has melded the two together to obtain the results you see today.
