Happy Mother’s Day + High Heels are Yummy!

Hope you get spoiled, coffee in bed, dinner out - no kitchen clean up, lots of presies - flowers.  Just let it go today.  Don’t do shit!  Let everyone fend for themselves. (Unless the little gaffers are too young of course.)

What is it about high heels?

Perhaps you can add about what it is… Maybe it’s all of it plus much more.  I’ve always had an attraction to high heels.  Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t be caught dead in them.  Mind you I did wear them once as part of an outfit for a school play.  Not very comfy!  Some say, you get use to them.  I’ve heard that after wearing them constantly, you actually have a hard time walking flat footed.

But enough small talk, today my quest took me on an interesting search, I didn’t want to be on the commercial "buy these shoes" type of sites, nor did I want to be on the extreme fetish side.  Some of you have already done profiling on foot fetish, so I didn’t want to be there either.  I figured if there’s a high heel thing lurking about me, there’s got to be lots out there!

Starting off with the more tame but fun, go-go boots.com.  It may take some of you back to the 60’s.  Moving right along here, I came across this fabulous site called tsubasa.  Sure there were some graphics of shoes, but make sure you visit the 5 galleries.  The art work and photography, is worth it.  Certainly one that I will feature in an another entry.

I have been caught ogling at a woman wearing High heals, to which DW just said "Ho! She’s wearing her "Fuck Me Shoes"  Well people actually write about this phenomenon.  Read Scarlet Letters’ My Life in Fuck Me Shoes.  Of course, I’ve spent my fair share of time discussing at length and analysing on my own, why they would be called Fuck Me Shoes. 

It has to do, according to DW, with what the person is trying to project.  To which of course I have to agree , but not whole heartidly.  Some do wear them as fashion for example. 

I do notice, that the walk, which can accompany the shoes, has a lot to do with wether I’ll classify the person as wearing her Fuck Me Shoes (FMS)or not.  If her hips are slightly protruded forward and the walk entails the whole body, I’ll say she’s wearing her FMS.  On the other hand, if it’s at the office, more often then not, it’s worn as an outfit, not trying to convey that message.  The walk is usually a quick stride with a posture quite rigid.

Denim Fridays are  different; if the same or similar pair of shoes is worn on Fridays, the same person may appear to be sending a different message.  Like "look what I can do".

Now I don’t know what the ninerniner weblog is about, but they do have a High Heel blog if you want to check it out.  Lots of goodies there…If you’re into High Heels.  I thought it might be a bit more exciting there!  Perhaps I was expecting a little bit of this!

One of the best commentaries that I found was from Erotic-Readers.com you have to jump a whole page down, the 2 adds for Simon scan and ZTOD.  After that there are lots of people sharing their views about high heels.
