Mid-Week Reviews
Young writer, not so young Blog. All That is This, written by Jen is a real blog. She’s running an 8 part series entitled Knowing Me…And it just keeps on going. Knowing Me is made up of a series of entries released over the past year that act as a tell all about Jen. Fun way to keep memoirs. In between, Jen tells some hot moments in her own way.
Barelace has two blogs! The second one is Barelace’s Herotica. The former being more of a personal blog, with some mighty HNT’s – There’s even a see my boobies section! Actually quite tasty and nicely done. Barelace excuses her recent writing style as she is rather busy these days. There’s a fair amount there to go through already. As for Barelace’s Herotica, it has more of a graphic feel to it. Well chosen pictures, just a few of them, most with credits.
Confessions of a Cyber Queen is another blogger product to be seen. On my screen, the sidebar appears at the bottom of the blog. Don’t you just hate it when that happens! If you look at the archives it doesn’t do that. I think it’s because of the Kuntz Dick picture which may be to wide, or not placed properly. It throws the margin off. Nevertheless, great blog. Lot’s of content. I spent over 20 minutes poking around. There are archives to last October. Some pretty hot passages through there, with some good shots to go along with them.

David Hamilton – Photographer
I’ve been thinking about this post all week end. There’s lots of time to think, when you’re house painting. I received my first David Hamilton book as a present in the 70′s. I would have been in my late teens. The gentleman that lived next door was a photographer and he just tossed it at me.
Around the same time, or a little later, much of his work was available at gift shops, check out corners etc… Pretty frames of young ladies in ballet poses or by a country side view. Always with expressions that left the viewer questioning.
Of course in my mid to late teens, these young ladies could stir my imagination to no end. The check out counter shots not. The book shots… OMG! At 17 years old I had my own apartment, and now this book, which I left on my coffee table for discussion.
That, alongside Desmond Morris’ Man Watching, which drew, of course, less interest.
So why was I thinking about this post all week end. Well for the 70′s, these shots of young girls, some children, didn’t stir half the controversy they would today if this work was released now. Draw the line between child pornography and tasty photography. David Hamilton did. He successfully managed to release pictures of very young ladies by capturing their unique expressions. I don’t think too many photographers go near there today.
I still have the book, it’s still right along side Man Watching on the book shelf. Yes, I’m a bit of a pack rat!
David Hamilton was born in London in 1933. He presently lives in an 800-year-old home near St.Tropez, France. He has worked for several well known international magazines, including Vogue, Realites, Twen, Playboy and Oui.
His trademark in photography has been the soft-focus. This technique, often referred to as the "Hamilton Look" gives the feeling of looking at an oil painting.
While he was active for over 30 years, he released at least 1 book a year. His models often appear naked, yet the photographs are always tasteful, delicious and suitable for everyone.
For the full biography See Photo Box and browse the website David Hamilton On Line.
Here I leave you with a few thumbnails, to sample his work.

Writing Styles
This just in… Wondering what a professional Brazillian Wax might be like. Click on the link and check out this video hosted on the Gag Report. Extremely well done. Satisfied my curiosity.
Blogs come in different flavours and colours. Even within the theme of adult writing, you’ll find the blog owner, largely writes about their own preferences. Some will simply do Poetry format, some will only write about BDSM or the submissive, some will only write fictional stories others write about their own experiences. I’m sure you get the idea, my statement really leads nowhere, it’s just an observation. Even within the theme of Adult Writing, it’s easy to break it down.
So starting with the submissive today, Submissive Magic, has been publishing material for a couple of years. The story setup very sweet if you read the profile: "I am 30 years old, living in a full time Master/slave relationship with my high school sweetheart." No pictures here, just plenty to read all the way back to November 2004. The host, Ameliana, writes this as I would judge as a real Blog. Comments are not easily found on this blog. There are a few, and as I expected, the submissive writer also attracts the submissive reader. There are some hot passages to go through here, and certainly an interesting lifestyle to discover.
Some tasty poetry or prose? Try X-pressions. A blogger project with a great welcome banner. Very clean and simple presentation. I gather from reading that the author is a woman, there is no "about me". It just adds to the secretive feel. Sidebar is empty except for the archives which are done monthly. Still some good hanky panky reading there.
She Can Not Say actually has the same Blogger Skin as X-pressions – Coincidence? This one is Canadian, with a profile and the writing style different. Not being that familiar with Blogger, I’d have to say it’s just 2 people picking the same Blog skin. Tasty just the same. This is the writing style closest to what I call a real blog. You get entries of real life as well as some extremely hot and explicit posts. This is also the type of blog I started hunting from the beginning of my project – The DH Factor. Ladies posting about their relationship with their husband. The links on the sidebar, lead to more. I’m surprised it took me this long to find She Can not Say’s blog!
I just tripped on this theme again, surfing away from Submissive Magic! I found Magdala’s Submission. Rather soft and erotic no? I guess that’s why it’s there! More analytical writing here and lot’s of it. Again another deep rooted blog, around for two and half years. Strong writing style.
Bordello Door is another hot read and also very young in presence. Done on blogger, you go there to read. That’s what it’s about! There is enough material there to get hot and bothered!

Poll: How much money do you have in the bank?

Many blog owners try to raise money from their blogs by dropping some form of advertising. As for me, well Google’s ad sense program felt I wasn’t suitable
their loss!
I must say, I’m not fond of the idea of reading with a banner or sidebar of naked bods trailing a caption "meet an adult friend in Tim Buck Two tonight". Gives me that cheap feeling. But to each his own and you got to do what you got to do. I prefer the Pay Pal at the bottom of the blog.
Not that all work and efforts should be rewarded, but if you post it on the net, blog style, I wouldn’t think you expect to become millionaire overnight. Sure there are more subtle ways. Like Ad Sense type that are geared for adult type ventures or the little pop up chosen words.
So it pays for the hosting….
So tell me, How rich are you from blogging?
This poll was posted for 2 weeks, according to the results and comments, most of us blog for the sake of blogging. A creative outlet. A few people have made the effort to raise money through their blog where 25% are successful at it.
Some do offer products, but maybe not so much for the sake of raising money, but to add to the fun. Of those, if they make money it’s a token.

Love HNT on Wednesday night
![]()
I’ve already come across a few blogs that have posted the DH Spicy button. Thank you. Don’t be shy, use it. If you’re name has ever come up in this blog or if you like to drop in…Go for it .
I’m starting to look forward to the end of the day, on Wednesdays, ’cause I know some of you that live in the other time zones are already posting your HNT’s – Yes I’m a perv!
. Today I’ve already dropped in on Sexualité’s, AlexSuze, Sexual Path, just to name a few!
Enough of that, as I dropped in on Shay’ s S-Spot, I was reminded that May was Masturbation Month! She has plenty of links for you to investigate, if your curious. If you need a little more, check out Betty Dodson. She’ll be assisting a volunteer in San Francisco with her technique of masturbation coaching. It’s a little far for me, so I won’t be there. It’s also a good time to drop in on Clitical.com.
I found somebody who’s project is to list chicks of the 60′s, drop in and see how many names you know!
On the blog side of things I came across, Kyma and Eponine from Memoirs of the Aroused. Some good reading here from a very articulate couple.
