One of my favourite tension breakers at work is to talk about sex. Without offending anyone I will just introduce a topic. The one where I can get the most mileage of with the ladies goes something like this.

Isn’t it badly done? Who made these rules anyway?

This usually captures my audience’s attention.

Think about it, women reach the height of their sexual activity in their 40’s while men, reach theirs between 18-25.

The reaction is usually interesting and so is the conversation that entails. From "my husband doesn’t leave alone" to "my husband barely knows I exist" … and of course everything else in between like: Linda claims she’s become so close with her bedside toy, she calls him Arthur.

But seriously, what’s your take on it?

We’re not debating wether it’s right or not here. We’re looking at the out come. So are young ladies in their 20’s just flattered and go along with it, while young men just thrust away their manhood into them.

Surely, matured men(hopefully) have studied this situation and are happy to oblige their companion skillfully, elegantly all in the while still benefitting from the activities.

I’m not looking for a discussion on aging here, mind you if you’re interested you can read Aging and The Sexual Response Cycle.

So when is sex 100% compatible? Depends on the couple doesn’t it? Depends on circumstances. I’d like to make everyone happy and say: All the time, it just isn’t so. I hope for most of you very often though.

Changes!

DH Spicy, now on FireFox, features a 3 column Blog - IE can’t keep up it would seem . Ie displays it as a wide, single column.

I will be looking at different toys for the new column - My theme is not Widget friendly, and of the ones that I tested, I wasn’t that impressed. The one toy that I did finally find is an aside that allows me to post little bleeps here and there. I can format it in many different ways.

Speaking of formatting, there is still some to come.

Finally, Avatars The Gravatar system, did not appeal to me. I got it up and running but the formatting in the comments, became very Ugly. With a lot more time and tweaking I could achieve it, and perhaps I will during the winter months.

Registered users: I’ve taken the liberty of copying some of your profile Avatars from your blogs and dropped them in my DB. The Comvatar system, requires you to acknowledge this. You will receive an email, asking you to click on a link for confirmation. As well, if you change your mind, you may email me one, 80×80 pix and I will be happy to set it up for you.

Non registered users: Will adapt a random Avatar from the non registered pool. It will always be associated with your email Addy, which is required to post on DH Spicy.

Over the last week, I’ve upgraded to Wordpress 2.0.3 . I’ve tested over 40 plug ins and themes. I hope when I start writing again, it will improve your experience . Certainly readies me for another fun season of reading your tasty stories and gawking at your HNT’s.

We’re here for another couple of days, and then it’s off to the cottage for 2 weeks. If you want, I wrote a piece of couple of years ago about our tradition. I’ll have a lot of catching up to do. Throughout the year, I usually work my way through the week, by thinking of the cottage. By April, I want to start packing!

Last year our vacations were Hijacked by my work - We went for only a weekend.

Yes, what’s this on the right? A new sidebar. It’s been up for about a month and it’s still taking form. It’s sort of like my side blog. Sometimes I just want to post something quick and dirty (or not so dirty)…So I now have a spot for it.

Problem is, if there is something in the sidebar you’d like to comment on or discuss, there’s nowhere to do it. So, for now, I will add a link to this post so I get your feedback on it. I will aso archive in this post, so if you’re looking for something you can go back to it.

One of them being the ability to show avatars in the comments. There are default avatars, or if you are a regular, I may eventually send you an email that confirms your avatar. If I don’t, or you missed it, just leave a comment and I’ll be happy to set it up for you. The default avatars can easily be replaced by your own.
