Reviews - Vahri’s Dreams
With a little more time on my hands and at home this week, I’m having a wonderful time catching up on some of my favourite readings. Of course as I visit your blogs, I look carefully at who you’ve added to your sidebars and check their links too.
A year and half ago, my method was very different, and I still resort to it, to find totally new material. It would be too easy for me to just drop in on BlogStormz or ABH and review the authors there. I like to think, I can still dig up fresh blood from different circles and bring them out or in. So you can expect a bit of both.
From Scotland, I found Vahri’s blog on Blogger entitled Vahri’s Dreams . Personally I would love for her to do a Podcast. Just to hear the accent. Her Mission Statement: "The sexual fantasies of a thirty-something horny Highland girl". Vahri has been posting since May, and her writing is very hot. She certainly achieves her objectives.
In her opening statement, she refers to her writings as pornography. Interestingly enough I like to draw a line between pornography and erotic or adult writing. My line is drawn here: Pornography is mostly just a lot of straight screwing around going on. Graphic, either through a video, or a magazine. Erotic or adult writing has elements of script and story line, character development, setting, building up to a graphic scene which can be described in either a gentle or coarse fashion. I won’t go on to all the elements of writing, as some of you are far more qualified to do this. You get the idea.
As for Vahri’s writing, it’s very good. In some entries, she just gets down to business and puts sexual elements in our faces right away. In others, that definitely qualify as stories, she falls into the writer’s category .
Great read and I will likely add her to my little repertoire. Her blog design is simple, but it delivers her goods. That’s what its for! Her blog categories are presented in different types of Sex, such as First Times, Lesbian Sex, Oral Sex…etc.
Vahri’s blog has a few pictures placed appropriately. Usually one per post, pertaining to the subject matter. Her repertoire of Blog links is modest, however I found a lot of "sponsoring" in the sidebar. From Amazon.com to Sugar Adult DVD and Passion: An adult Sex shop.
All in all this is a great blog, with its unique style. (I just wish she’d do a podcast

Random Predictions 2007
Blogging
MySpace will improve its format to entice more users. It will be good enough to draw a considerable amount of adult bloggers.
Blogging is not going away. The general public is still curious and there are still many developers eager to please the needs. We can be ready to see new comers as well as improvements on the present platforms.
Blogging continues to evolve in different directions in 2007, serving much more than the original personal journal crowd. It makes publishing websites so easy we can expect different types of CMS to spin off from its format.
Sex Toys
Always innovate! And with Internet and blogs, you’ll find a lot more people putting their ideas out there. Some home made. More and more blogs on masturbation… Some with a purpose, others not really!
Fashion
Look to Gaudi for patterns and colours, seek warm earth tones in fall and winter. Say goodbye to wearing your joggers out on the street. People want to look good and unique in 2007. Fashion will look to shape the body in certain areas rather than to conceal it. Be prepared for new purchases being tight in certain areas.
Plus size fashion will flourish.
Big breasts take a back seat. It won’t be as important anymore and people will accept themselves as they are. I can still like big breasts!
Hair
You will keep your hair shorter but messier. Big points, for going to work with as little fuss on your hair as possible. Messy hair at the office will be in line will the growing statement “I got laid last night” and that’s becoming more and more popular! So keep them guessing and go into work with messy hair everyday!
Jewellery
Lots of it! Lot’s that you can’t see. Big stones.
Self Improvement
Eat better, take time to look after yourself: This a concept that we saw the beginnings of in 2006, and it keeps on flourishing. People use to say I do it for my partner, now people don’t say it. You do it for yourself. You want to feel good, look good. There may not be a partner right now, still you will take those few moments to work out, eat properly and since there is no partner, you may also take a few quiet moments and bring yourself on and off! If you don’t already belong to a health club or gym or spa, chances are you will by the end of 2007.
Technology
Spam is not going away, expect lots more!
Also expect to see Mp3’s and online multimedia targeted with a new generation strand of virus or malaware or spy ware.
In the last big computer evolution, the Internet, Microsoft missed the boat. It scrambled and sabotaged for two years to gain a foothold. This time Microsoft will be at it again by introducing RSS to it’s next operating system. As a result, existent RSS tools will improve and will no longer be free for its advanced features.
Consumer
Most of what you’ll buy, yes even your sex toys will have been manufactured in China. China still the leader in manufacturing, stick to the service industry. More stuff to come from China and if your looking for something and you can’t find it, you may want to take a trip there and look for it! Large western companies, will keep on establishing branches in China to facilitate many aspects of business.
I missed God! Global Orgasm Day! December 22nd, I was out Christmas shopping all day. An interesting web site if you want to check out what you missed. Stay tuned for next year.

Robert Coulter - Bad Girls Hotel
Every once in a while I discover an artist or a photographer that I share with you. My latest is Robert Coulter, who stands behind many erotic achievements in the field of photography. Perhaps one project which may be better know is Bad Girls Hotel. The previous link will take you to Amazon.com where you can also browse some of his other published works.
So, I got curious and started examining and digging up what I could find about where the shots were taken and the subjects (models) used in the photography. A New Yorker himself, Bob Coulter chose “Ye Olde Carlton Arms Hotel” located on east 25th Street in New York. As I browsed the pictures, I felt like I had just received an invitation from Jerry Garcia of the Greatful Dead. The rooms are kept in a “on the magic bus” ambiance.
About the models, well they really are models! It was a little more difficult to get info about the ladies. But I got enough info to attest, that despite the theme, these were models and perhaps not bad girls as we would be lead to believe. This just goes to show how far a photographer with a great imagination can go.
Fortunately, much of his work is available on the Internet. You may see the gallery in the sidebar for what I’ve gathered for you. You will also find an extensive collection of photos work on Bob Coulter’s My Space.

Newbies
Writing through this media we call "the blog" has opened up sevaral doors to many people. It’s kind of fun! Mind you around this time, some have less time for writing. This is most likely one of my last posts for 2006. As I roam around I see the trend, people spending more family time, Office parties, Holiday shopping.
So, I’ve been peeking around at some blogs. Perhaps they’re too busy with the above or perhaps they just post once in a while. Certainly not daily or regularly like some I drop in on. Yet you find content and quality.
Someone who’s taken their time to put a piece together in a few precious moments and therefore, worth reading, by my standards.
Since September, Bad Influence Girl has put together a Wordpress project and achieved a re-birth. Reading the earlier entries, I get the impression, this was to get a new start. I couldn’t figure out the previous identity, obviously for good reasons.
With over forty powerful entries on Wordpress, Bad Influence Girl can bring on, out of most stories, a quick arousal factor. Very well written and entertaining. You can even get a review of Doc Johnson’s IRabbit reading through the archives.
Really hot stuff here! Reading Lil_Bit on the Side
from the beginning, you get a feeling of someone sitting down to tell all about the sexual encounters she’s had. Simple presentation on Blogger, which serves the purpose here. Entries date back to October.
