The best Julius Zimmerman biography is found at Davesart, but it’s difficult to pinpoint an age. Judging from the dates, I would say Julius Zimmerman is a child of the 60’s or perhaps late 50’s, putting him in his mid to late 40’s.

I have come across some of his images, many times and I’m sure you have too. The sexy images of Lara Croft, of recent, for example(Tomb Raider). There was also a generation of Who Framed Roger Rabbit’s Jessica. I have seen CatWoman, Superman, Snow White, Tinkerbell. On another site, I found some animated movies too.

His work can get very explicit. Many websites post a warning or an age check because of the nature of the pinups: Extremely explicit.   Julius Zimmerman published one book entitled Blind Squirrel, which appears to be currently out of print. Another was scheduled to be released, but it never happened.

Most of his revenue appears to come from auctions or Naughtybids . He doesn’t do commissioned work anymore, and from what I can see, he never did much. I usually like to list where some of the featured artist’s work has appeared, but I couldn’t very well do that as I found no references.

Today I’m adding some of Julius Zimmerman’s work to the gallery, if you want to have a peek. You can find a wider array of his work on the internet. I’ve listed some of the authorized sites below. As for my purpose, I’m not posting some of the very explicit ones, but that’s my choice(Yeah I know, I’m such a prude). Just follow the links, I’m sure you’ll find them.  As I read on, this can be further broken down into other sub-genres, which would be too wide of an area for this post.  We’ll keep it simple.

One of the most fascinating cultures to me is Japanese.  So cultured in all aspects from the temples to the Geisha discipline, the wedding ceremonies, the festivals, the cherry blossoms, the art, the language, the written form, media…I could go on and on.  

I’m also fascinated by the Japanese’s Sexual Preferences, Trends, and Fetishes.  Does it reflect on their culture?  Perhaps in the last 25 years or so it does.
 

Many Japanese women, not all I point out, grow up to remain immature like, with young teen tendencies.  If you observe a young Japanese girl say in her twenties,  chances are you’ll find her social habits and accessories to resemble the ones of a person half that age. 

The reason?  They’ve been taught to behave like this to please and attract Japanese men.  You may grasp this through Animé or other Japanese visual medias. 

It’s what makes the world go round, we’re all a little different and Vive la différence!  While we’re on the subject of Japanese society, did you know Japan introduced a sexy Ronald McDonald a few years back to promote a hamburger?

So getting back as to why some Japanese women appear to remain school girl age even in their twenties.  Socialization maybe?  A popular form of behaviour for these  young school girls is Enjo kōsai (援助交際, Enjo kōsai^?).  Known as assisted dating in Japan.  The practice involves young school girls escorting older, salaried men.  Often the escorting can involve sexual services.  It began in the 1980’s economic surge.  The payment is not always money.  It can involves fashion related items bearing popular names in exchange for dating favours.

In a country where the age of consent is 13 nationwide, 16 to 18 in most prefectures; the age of marriage for a female with parental approval is 16, Hentai is only sold to people over 18! 

Japanese girls really don’t have to change their undies, they can sell them on their way home and buy tons more.   Each pair can be sold  for 5,000 to 7,000 yen.  That’s anywhere in between $40 and $60 USD.  Not bad money for walking home from school.  Ha yes, and all this for the scent of a woman!
