Je t’aime moi non plus -

Ouch my knees! Yes , that is in the back of a dumpster! In 1973, I was a young teen.  I can remember watching couples dance to this song, even mom had the album.  The song has always stuck in my head over the years, as the sexiest thing that could be laid on a sound track and become pop.

In my previous post, I said I would watch the movie this week end, and I did.  First the version I picked up was in spanish, I thought I might be able to follow it. Half way through I changed my mind and went back to get the original in french.  Obsessive! who me?  Well sometimes.  So I watched the second half in french and then went back to watch the first half in french.  I got my fill.  So the multimedia thing’s got me going too.  What can I bring to the table that might be of interest?

So I came up with this:  If you click on the link below, you should get a little montage I put together.  It should come up in it’s own little window.  Hope you enjoy it!

Je t’aime, moi non plus

 Other info about the film:

Plot Summary:

The petite waitress Johnny works and lives in a truck-stop, where she’s lonely and longs for love. She develops a crush on the garbage truck driver Krassky, although her sleazy boss Boris warns her that he’s gay. Maybe because of her boyish looks, Krassky likes her too. Both doesn’t notice the growing jealousy of Krassky’s boyfriend Padovan - until an escalation.

My 2 cents worth.   I enjoyed the film, still, the song is what does it for me.
