Surfing around today just to distract me from thinking about work, I found Smut and the Dirty Girl, a Canadian blog!!  I actually don’t find too many.  Done on Blogger, post occasionally, but enjoyable.  A little Sugasm in there too.  You go there to read, not too many links or graphics.

If your into the Dom stuff, you can drop in on Sometimes Almost Magic.  It can be an excellent starting point to start a submissive/Dom blog evening.  Going to the other extreme you can check out Her House Husband’s Life.  Another well written blog which comes along with a few more links.

I’ve always wanted to work from home, but this is somewhat different.  There are usually 4 to 10 other peeps downstairs having meetings, keypunching or on the phone.  Nothing too glamourous about it.  No time to think about nooky either.  So for the time being, I’ve just been fixing links on my sidebar.  

Viviane’s Sex Carnival is now done on Wordpress.  Nice structure too.  Really a Magazine format now.

Speaking of Magazines, Sexblo.gs has moved too. 

So I’ve got another week of management by crisis.  Everyweek gets better.

Do any of you work from home?  Certainly solitaire is the way to go.  Not the way I’m doing it, DW is happy to have me home but she does see me in work mode, and there can’t be anything too attractive about a guy shouting instructions to co-workers or suppliers on the phone.

I’ve been working from home this week, with about half a dozen different co-workers each day.  There’s no schedule, you arrive when you get here and you leave when it’s time to go!  If you can hear anything in the room, it’s a loud buzz of people trying to talk to each other, on top of the other conversation going on.  The cell phones, the land line the noise of the server…Management by crisis.

Following one of the snow roof cave ins, our work premises have been condemmned.  So I decided to set up shop or the office part in our living room, untill new quarters are acquired.

In the midst of the madness this morning, I walk into our bedroom to get something and I’m greeted with this devlish smile, "You know what today is?"  to which I announced the day and the date properly….  "Yes, it’s also Steak and Blowjob Day!"

Talk about breaking my concentration!

I took it back downstairs, annouced it to my co-workers and we all had a good laugh! 

Now, I’m getting very hungry!

I love talent channelled properly.  Here you’ll find "quality erotica, informative essays, articles, art, that focuses on a variety of themes".  Such a project headed by Ana Mavromatis from Sexualité amongst many blogs she authors, is a treat.  It has an art and photography section nicely documented and reviewed by Ana herself but to top that section, photographer Eddie Otrowski himself presently reviews  Blue Art by Gunther Vandenven.  In the current issue, Eddie is also featured and interviewed by Ana.

Strict rules are put in place for those authors who wish to gain exposures, that’s a good point.  It guarantees  well written work.  The submitted work, is presented in Lucrezia Magazine  under two different themes/sections:  Essays and articles being one and Fiction being the other. 

An online project such as this requires a lot of time and effort to set forward.  Obviously this has been done here.  Already in third or fourth month, this is a  real treat to follow. 

I do rounds regularly now, looking for new niches around the adult blog community.  No one gave me that job 3 years ago, it just seemed like a natural thing to do.  So much talent out there, so many people with stories to tell, real of fiction.  At first it was actually a challenge to come up with newbies, but over the next two years, many tools were develloped to link everyone through directories.

The blog thing on it’s own with RSS feed is pretty strong.  Directories like  the existing ABH or Sugasm or (rip) Blogstormz are very powerful.  The type of content I tend to sponsor, by dropping links and comments are aimed mostly at writers.  There are, however, directories that are labelled in the same category, Adult Blogs, where the content, is hardcore porn pictorials.   Don’t get me wrong, I like the pictures, as much as the next guy, it just seems to me it’s misusing the whole blog thing.

Today, I came acrosss a new Adult directory, it was listed as a visitor in my stats, so I thought I’d check it out.  ABM or Adult Blog Marketing.  It reviews how well blog directories market themselves???  It seems to have stopped it’s activies around late November, so in all it ran for about eight montsh.  I’m still trying to wrap my head around the concept.  The majority of the reviews I looked at were rated as poor, because they didn’t live up to the author’s critrias. 

On the plus side there are many links to follow up.  Done on Blogger, there appears to be a fair amount of designing involved.  It just looks like a directory of directories, with a flawed rating system.  Maybe it’s just trying to point out which directories really work?  Is it trash?  You decide.

When it comes to movies, I may go months without watching a single one.  Then, when the time is right, I binge.  This week end is winding up to be just that.  After watching the Academy Awards last week end, I decided to take a trip to the video store and do some catching up.  I haven’t seen all of the ones I rented yet, but I was so impressed by a certain actess, I decided to give it a rest and look her up.

We all have our favourite Hollywood stars.  Here I’d like to focus specifically "of the opposite sex".  For example, for the female audience, George Clooney and Johnny Depp have ranked pretty high in this household for a couple years.  As for me well, since I don’t follow it up as closely, I kind of watch a couple of films and get hung up on some one.  In the female category it would appear to be a couple of Jennifers yes, Aniston and Garner.

But not in this household.  Earlier this year I was fascinated by Marisa Tomei, this after reading up on, and watching  Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead  .  Now, after having watched Hitman last night, my attention seems to be going over to Olga Kurylenko .  Drop dead gorgeous!  I’m looking forward to seeing her in the upcoming James Bond movie.

 Now, having gone from model to actress is a plus for her.  She pulls it off extremely well.  Nudity, well you can go there, this young lady doesn’t seem to mind baring it all for the camera.  Considering her modelling background, it’s not surprising and very pleasant to look at!
