In my madness recently I made a note that I wanted to mention Will Elder in passing.  After all if it wasn’t for him, I may have never learned english.  I spent many 6 hour train rides, in the 70’s, between Montreal and Toronto reading Mad Magazine.  What I probably didn’t know at the time, is he was also the creator of Little Annie Fanny, which ran for 25 years in Playboy Magazine.  Not that I wasn’t reading Playboy at that age, but I probably couldn’t afford it and would have been too young to buy it!   But I knew the cartoon.

Will Elder passed away May 15th, at the age of 86 after a long battle with Parkinsons disease, leaving behind a legacy of work which is acknowledged through out the Internet by several reviewers and interest groups.  In 2003 he was inducted into the Comic Book Hall of Fame.

Known for his Chicken Fat style, (he coined the phrase), he always put a lot of graphics in his background frames.  Enough to keep you busy and amused for hours!

I’m certainly enjoying the last few days.  Magnolias, Cherry trees blossoming and a real taste of spring.  Not to mention the ladies and summer garments coming out .
I think DW’s having a good time.  I came home today, and looked up to hear: " I bet you don’t know what a Rainbow Party is?" 

So, my new word today is Rainbow Party.

Right, at a high school level, where the girls all wear different colour liptick and give the boy(s) a blowjob, trying to complete the colour of the rainbow.  School days sure have changed.  I never thought I’d hear myself say, I wish I was back there. 

So 2 for 2, DW is teaching me new stuff!  For some reason, I’m feeling very out of touch, all of the sudden. 

It’s interesting to note, that I couldn’t find anything but written up references on this.  Sure My Space has a bit of club going but I would have liked to have been able to show you a line up of rainbow colour lips or an artfully done penis.  On second thought perhaps not.  The word high school may be why there are no pics posted.  There would be a whole bunch in jail I guess!  

A little background on this piece:… 

I haven’t mastered the English language yet, or so it would seem.  Most people wouldn’t know, since my name is Anglo.  I’ve lived most of my life in English, married une Anglaise, whose father’s accent is so thick, when we first met it was embarrassing for me to say" pardon me" all the time.  Our son was raised en Anglais, but speaks french very well.

So today after work, I’m listening to DW’s day and after a bit, I ask "so how did that go?"  To which the reply came… "a real cluster fuck".

Well, I just about lost it!  I’d never heard of the expression.  Of course in moments like these, I’ve also learned not to let on and do my on research after the fact.  So for the rest of the conversation, my mind was rambling on about cluster fuck.  Initially I had these vivid sexual graphic pictures going through my mind.  Orgy like.  I mean, if you could take all of the writers’ stories and tell tales going through ABH, you would most probably get cluster fuck, the way I imagined it.  Btw, if you Google it (image search), the first page of results is more along my line of thinking.

May you be spoiled today!  May I offer you spring sunshine to bighten your day?  Coffee in bed?  Reservations for dinner?  A little shopping spree perhaps in your favourite store?  A day at the Spa?  or would you rather have a personal massage?  Just a lazy day doing what you want?  So what’s it going to be?   All of those things?  Ok no problems.  Today’s your day.  Here’s our way of saying thank you for all it is that you do for us.

My schedule is not allowing me to post presently.  Following a mishap, in March, I’ve had to pick up the pieces with my co-workers.  We are approaching the final touches and hopefully, life will be back to normal shortly.  I still have the pleasure of dropping on your blogs, but unfortunately not in the swing of write ups yet.  If I come across something fantabulous I promise to take a moment and post.

I am managing the gym, there was an interruption there too, but I’m back at it.  As for the other stuff, as most of you know, I can never get enough!
