Good Bye Chelsea Girl!

Chelsea Girl's Pretty Dumb ThingsBit of a shocker, but as I clicked around my regular run this morning I found a good bye note on CG’s blog, Pretty Dumb Things.  Sorry to see you go, it’s been an amazing blog for the last 3 years.  Also amongst one of my first reviews and the oldest photo link, in my sidebar.

About Cherries…

pop my Cherry-1.jpgLate June or early in July, we watched as Lucrezia Magazine was undergoing Big changes.  Now operating under a Joomla front page with a few drops of WordPress in the blog section, really makes it rock.    My latest little discovery on Lucrezia, is a blog segment entitled Pop My Cherry.  Just a month old, you get a good taste of it’s potential. You’ll need to put on your big girl panties, this blog covers everything from Morgentaler to great sex toys.  The graphics are delicious too!

So what’s it all about?  I quote the author:  "“pop my cherry” is a blog that will explore sexuality through the lens of pop culture, i.e: “sexual culture.”…  "   The contents solid.

Looking at it, the header image being over 1000px wide and the writing column even bigger, this is part of what gives Pop My Cherry, it’s feel.  A lot of designing has gone into this project and with many users changing their screens to 1680 resolution, web designers will make their way there in no time!

cropped-cherryboxxx.jpgSo who’s behind Pop my Cherry?  Domina Doll, a lady with her own blog entitled Cherry Boxxx.  Started in March, at first reviewing sex toys expanded her topics to other adult venues and now some great posts about sexuality related issues.

Cherry Boxxx‘s side bar is enough to keep you busy for another couple of weeks!  There’s a little Sugasm in there too.  Other interesting bits…It’s made in Canada! flag-small-canadian.gif

Lucrezia Magazine found a great product with Domina Dolls’ blog style and content.  It’ll be interesting to see where it all goes.   Did I mention these two blogs are mostly written for a female audience?  Oh C’mon guys love this stuff too!

Sean McCall

C lick to enlarge!Regular peeps that stop by here, know that I like to do a quick exposé every once in a while on Tasty, Sexy Art, and Photography.  After I was granted permission to go ahead, I discovered that
photographer and cinematographer, Sean McCall, has an impressive trail to follow.  Far beyond the few shots I had in mind.

It was a pleasure researching him, and finding out there was so much more than I expected.  Since this post is about Sean McCall’s photography, let’s take a look at that side of him.  He is working in the fields  of fashion, advertising, commercial, beauty, glamour and products including publication such as in Allure, Bazaar, Details, Glamour, GQ, Madamoiselle, Redbook, Sunset and Vogue.  Impressive credits.

Even more impressive are his subjects… Ali McGraw, Angelina Jolie, Bo Derek, Caprice Bourret, Chris Farley, Dita Von Teese, James Coburn, Mohammed Ali, Pia Zadora, Steve Guttenberg and Tommy Chong.  That maybe a 20 year line up, recently Sean McCall is working for Designers like Moschino, Gautier and Dior.  Some of the above mentioned names may be viewed on his website .

I didn’t research the cinematography side of Sean McCall as extensively, but I did find one piece I thought everyone here would enjoy, entitled Blooming Dahlia.  From 2004, this is an 8 minute film featuring Dita von Teese.  In 2005, he was also involved with A/k/a Tommy Chong.

More recently, and back to photography, say April 2008, the tabloids splattered photos of a young Angelina Jolie.  The photos were taken by Sean McCall, about 1 year before she began to be noticed.

I found other references to work in print, you can find out about it at Pocketvenus.com.

Thank you Sean, for allowing me to do this post.

Since I asked permission for this article to display one specific photo, I will send you to the photos that first got my attention. I’m sure you’ll appreciate them too .  For more Sean McCall photos, follow these links…

Stumbeling

72px-StumbleUpon_logo.png Indeed, I Stumbleupon this week!  Just when you thought you’d reached the edge of the Internet, comes along   this little browser toy, to show you differently.  Based on a peer to peer system, pages you rate gives you back similar findings in interest(s).  It works through a relatively harmless tool bar, and should you decide the app is not for you, it takes seconds to uninstall. Also very cool, It’s Canadian!  flag-small-canadian.gif

Sure thing I lined up my account to reflect some tasty stuff.   Such as the Sex Project .  If you like written work in the form of stories there’s also McStories.com . Some very good reads there.  Going extreme I came across BME Body Modification Enzine.  Covering body piercing, corsets amongst others.  Need a good stomach for some of the shots if you go beyond this page and cover the website.

Literotica has a little everything including written work.  If you like to read or write, this adult portal can help you out.  Submitted work is posted.  Contest, and links to other sites.  Almost three years ago, I reviewed Sexuality.org .  This little gem is still going on strong.  Check it out if you’re seeking a more educational approach.

I also tripped on this editorial, published three yeas ago on the female orgasm .  Finally, for those of you exploring products to enhance your sexual experiences, you may want to find out about the Bodybouncer. Not exactly something you keep in your bedside drawer, but it could be fun!

Up and coming, I’ll do a stint on Tasty Art and Photography.  I’ve requested permission to use some pictures, so we must wait and be patient.

Cheap Thrills – Click and Play!

I’m not big on porn, nor have I seen much. With sex being more and more of a media thing than ever, lately, I’ve ventured and stumbled upon shorts that are uploaded by amateurs.  At first I just sort of skipped over them, but when I realized, how many sites are out there promoting this stuff, I started, watching a few, and noting the websites.  I call these cheap thrills!

No questions asked, just click and sit back.  In the past you had to sign up acquire a password etc… Not these, simply click and play.

Most well known probably is Red Tube  .  Very much like YouTube but with the twist of nothing but porn.  Next there is Yuvutu, which claims to be the home of adult amateur video.  I don’t doubt for one minute, but since I’m relatively new at this, we might have to re-visit that idea.

Maxporn is another biggy, similar to RedTube, broken up into a well organized lay out.  A little something for everyone here!  There is Asredas.com .  Oops now this is where I got sidetracked with some very distracting fucking machines. Also came across ( no pun intended ) Camelstyle.net and there again, I found an array of  these fucking machines being tested by Gwen Diamond (Pornstar).

To finish off, here are some lighter things I found, which I thought I would share…

Don’t piss off your teenage daughter , Found on the Gag Report.

Then, things got educational…

Somnophilia

I certainly had imagined the concept, perhaps even experienced it!  But I never knew it was coined!

That’s it for now and a  Happy click and play!

YouTube Promo

I’m adding a new feature of DH Blog Spicy.  With the permission of bloggers I will do some feature YouTube posts.  I imagine the task to be rather challenging but fun.  After having spent the week visiting other YouTube Video Bloggers, I realize, the limits can be pushed a little further than I thought.

Anyway with your participation, this should be an interesting venture.  I’m having fun doing it, and certainly, it can only bring you readership!

 Here’s the first one!

Let me know what you think, I’m looking for your feedback. I’m also up to incorporating some of your ideas.
