Take the leap!

Method:  Proceed cautiously, follow the instructions!

Make sure to list all the plugins you de-activite, so you know what to re-activate when its done.

Work with your ftp program, carefilly following the instructions.

Re-activate your plug ins.  You will notice Automatic Plug in upgrades… I was forced into the first one as I activated.  I tried it!  At this point I got a automatic offer to upgrade my database… It’s really a must proceed. However that plug in failed the upgrade!  So for now I didn’t do the rest of the plug in upgrades.

I had no problems with the balance.

Test your blog, make sure your sidebar(s) are behaving properly,

In my case, My gallery window in the sidebar needs tweaking.

It’s summer time on this side of the globe right now, and we’re still waiting for those scorchers.  I’ve already taken a few days off here and there.  Enough time to get most of my toys on this server.  I don’t know if any of you fool around with any message boards, but one of the big migrations has been from Phpbb2 to Phpbb3.  Since I found a little more spare time in my life than this spring, I helped out a few friends with the conversion.  It’s also back at the gym… Home renovations and the rest on a new 64 bit Windows Vista.  I really haven’t had "much" trouble.  Just look out for the Nokia Suite with 64 bit Vista.

As for Spicy Blog lands, I’ve had to stop and catch my breath a few times, looking at Alex&Suze .  A pretty amazing pace, to keep up to.   Speaking of busy, Ana of Sex, Life and Frilly Bits, has done an amazing job of Lucrezia Magazine.  A little something for everyone with contributors that are top notch.  To look for new blood the way I use to, has become a little more difficult, as most writers contribute to such engines as ABH, a great entity for Adult, sexual content bloggers.  Off to the side you can pick up on some mainstream adult news featuring on A-Rouse.com, covering anything "adult" related.  Another Alex&Suze production!  Sugasm is still doing it’s stuff and linking to it’s writers and contributors.

I’ve had a tough time identifying and defining the adult "writing" blog from the adult "pictorial" blog, (aka porn blogs).  Both have their place, but historically DH Blog Spicy has concentrated on crediting the writers for their work.  Speaking of pictorials, HNT has taken a bit of a set back, it’s not as popular as it use to be.   Bit of change in trend here.  Funny thing is where some of the written text blogs of an adult warning at the front door, the pictorial ones don’t.  Yes it has some parents up in arms…  What are you going to do?

By the way, you can still find CBW on The S Spot .  For those of you not familiar with this acronym, it stands for Cock Blogging Wednesday! In my recent travels I have bookmarked some interesting spots.  Nude Photography and adult artwork have always interested me, I’ll feature these in a couple of days.  in the mean time a couple of great sources for adult stuff is Sexoteric and Bubblegummeltdown.

Other blogs and adult magazines I like to drop in on are Gracie’s Playground, Always Aroused Girl and Jane’s Guide.  Unfortunately, up until about 2 weeks ago I hadn’t been doing much of anything.  So I’ll be doing a lot of catching untill mid August
