Vernissage – Ashvattha
Welcome to the DH Spicy Gallery!
Starting today I will periodically feature a photographer or artist on the gallery. As always, respecting the border line between Porn and artistic achievements. A link to the artist’s website, crediting his/her work, will be available on the gallery page where their work can be seen in its entirety.

On the right you’ll find one of the photos from Ashvattha. See the gallery for access to the website, where many more are on display.
Now I love the shots, but I still have a lot of research to do on omkirinAgA and Ashvatta. It’s actually half the fun.
Kate Moss scans are part of the back bone here, as well as other celebrities. I see shots from High fashion magazines to Kool Ads and many more.
It’s an amazing umbrella of photography, hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
There is a link in the sidebar that will take you to the gallery, if you want to check periodically.

Michel Charles
French photographer Michel Charles born, lives and works in Marseilles. His work plays around erotica and Mediterranean subjects often manipulating the lighting of his shots. Using digital alterations to the photographs he keeps his subject suggestive in an erotic fashion.
I have come across many websites that act as a portal for his work. I invite you
to visit them, as some unique work can be found on all of them. Either due to the time they were posted or whether they were made available only at that time some shots appear on some sites and not others.
His work is sexually inspiring and so far as I’ve seen, he only uses female subjects. If you know of any other links to his work, please share in the comments. As I researched him on the net, I also discovered his personal blogger spot. If you speak a little french, you’ll have a good time reading his bio and blog header. Look no further…This gentleman only photographs nude women!
The blog itself has a large amount of work you may flip through to get a better idea of his scope. The galleries I’m sure offer the most sought after and popular pieces. I find it’s nice to be able to go through more of a port-folio.
By going through his blog I also discovered his past time. It would appear our photographer friend indulges himself in cartooning under the name Phileas. Political cartooning can be displayed on a second blog he hosts through blogger and by doing searches on Phileas, you’ll find plenty more.
Michel Charles’ landscape photos are probably best seen on his third blog, but can also be found on his main gallery.
Will I be doing a series of banner for my blog to promote his work? Most likely! I haven’t gone through enough and all of his available work yet, but I’m certainly enjoying the process.
This is the main link to his gallery:
On a more personal level:

Purchasing his work appears to be rather simple through his main gallery.

Tasty, Sexy Art and Photography Reviews
Tasty, Sexy Art and Photography Reviews
On Mother’s day, this year, I featured an article about high heel shoes, which brought out an artist by the name of Tsubasa. At the time I said, I would later feature it on this review. AlexSuze, picked up on it right away and featured Tsubasa on one of their posts that day. Reader comments were great.
Please note where ever shoes or feet are featured on his images, the attention and details given to it. His high heels and arches display futuristic traits that may give certain shoe designers a run for their money or inspire them.
I found a short profile. American born, his work features ultramodern erotic fantasy. His website is not static, it gives news updates on his most recent projects. Currently there is a feature on the June 2006 German Fetish Ball, where Tsubasa created the Logo.
A great Website to go through and obviously a great contribution to the adult world. Tsubasa also features a book for sale. Details on the web site.
I found a German website that features exquisite nude photography. Once again here, drawing the fine line between porn and not porn. This is photography at it’s best. I could go on and profile the photographers one by one and show you pieces of their work, but why bother when this gallery does it so well!
Nudeart gallery.de has on display some of the best work I’ve come across and can be navigated with ease. Choose from over 40 artists here and view their work. A real treat.
The one I chose, is from Marc Collins, click on the picture to go straight to his page. This is one website worth exploring. Enjoy.
Trevor Oswalt‘s work revolves mostly around head shots. (Wrong) As you tour his website, you’ll find this
an interesting concept. As well he has other work from his port-folio listed on line. This is one busy New York city guy. As I searched for information I found that he has a band, he’s starred in plays, movies…How involved can you get? Here’s an excerpt from the American Repertoire Theatre website:
Trevor Oswalt is still shootin’ (Trevor Oswalt Photography at www.trevoroswalt.com) and still rockin’ (his band Lost Tricks just came out with a new EP, visit www.losttricks.com).
You can also find an online interview with him from the New York Deli Magazine. As well, there are pages of references to him if you do an Internet search.
As for nude photography, please visit his Website.

Erotic Photographer Eddie Ostrowski
By way of Ana’s Sexualité blog… In early April, I started being fascinated by photos from photographer Eddie Ostrowski. As I am not an art critique myself, I’ve decided to feature his photos by linking his previous reviews and works, which are spanned through many websites. I personally enjoy his work and I
think you will too.
Eddie is presently 37 years old and working out of California. Originally a painter, but always fascinated by photography, he has melded the two together to obtain the results you see today.
Starting off with his own projects :
Eddieguy.com : Eddie’s main website featuring Bio, Portfolio and main contact information.
Deviantart.com: Featuring some of his darker work which displays as stated on his portfolio:
His experimentation with photographs includes working directly with the negatives, scratching them, using photo bleach, charcoal, paint, and a various other methods to arrive at something purely original.
Several spin off blogs he hosts on Blogger feature models he and others have photographed: When it comes to blogging, Eddie has more for you to discover. Just explore as you visit the above blogs. To find out a little more about him, you can also look up a feature interview he participated in last year at Eros-Ezine. They’re featuring a nice little pop up gallery there too. With his permission, I am featuring the following banners : Banner-1 Banner-2 Banner-3 Banner-4 Thank you Eddie for letting us share your talent and photos.
There’s another Eddie Ostrowski project of Erotic Art, Fine Art Nudes, and Porn can be found at Eroticandy.com .

David Hamilton – Photographer
I’ve been thinking about this post all week end. There’s lots of time to think, when you’re house painting. I received my first David Hamilton book as a present in the 70′s. I would have been in my late teens. The gentleman that lived next door was a photographer and he just tossed it at me.
Around the same time, or a little later, much of his work was available at gift shops, check out corners etc… Pretty frames of young ladies in ballet poses or by a country side view. Always with expressions that left the viewer questioning.
Of course in my mid to late teens, these young ladies could stir my imagination to no end. The check out counter shots not. The book shots… OMG! At 17 years old I had my own apartment, and now this book, which I left on my coffee table for discussion.
That, alongside Desmond Morris’ Man Watching, which drew, of course, less interest.
So why was I thinking about this post all week end. Well for the 70′s, these shots of young girls, some children, didn’t stir half the controversy they would today if this work was released now. Draw the line between child pornography and tasty photography. David Hamilton did. He successfully managed to release pictures of very young ladies by capturing their unique expressions. I don’t think too many photographers go near there today.
I still have the book, it’s still right along side Man Watching on the book shelf. Yes, I’m a bit of a pack rat!
David Hamilton was born in London in 1933. He presently lives in an 800-year-old home near St.Tropez, France. He has worked for several well known international magazines, including Vogue, Realites, Twen, Playboy and Oui.
His trademark in photography has been the soft-focus. This technique, often referred to as the "Hamilton Look" gives the feeling of looking at an oil painting.
While he was active for over 30 years, he released at least 1 book a year. His models often appear naked, yet the photographs are always tasteful, delicious and suitable for everyone.
For the full biography See Photo Box and browse the website David Hamilton On Line.
Here I leave you with a few thumbnails, to sample his work.
